CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more. CST has also been shown to help with the physical components related to such somatic conditions as Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.

By facilitating the body's natural and innate healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and has been shown to be beneficial for people seeking help with a wide range of healthcare challenges and symptoms.

There is vast research to show that a change in physical health is accompanied by a change in mental health, and it is equally documented that the reverse is apparent. SER is a holistic mind-body somatic approach that may also assist a person in gaining insight as to how that held trauma is influencing their physical and emotional health. SER can support the person transition from dysfunction and unresolved issues towards wellness and optimal function.

* Please note that SER is a CranioSacral Therapy technique and therefore your first visit will be a CST 10 Step Protocol.
If you are looking for SER, I highly recommend booking 3 Sessions for optimal results.

Whether your need is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall sense of emotional and physical well-being. Child Treatments Are Unique – And That’s Okay!

Children experience bodywork differently than adults, and their sessions may look a little different too! They might move around more, chat throughout the session, or ask the therapist to switch between areas. This is completely normal and doesn’t mean the treatment is any less effective or relaxing.

Every child has their own way of processing and unwinding. As they become more comfortable with CranioSacral Therapy and massage, the benefits will become even more noticeable. Infants and children also experience SomatoEmotional Release differently than adults, as their cognitive awareness of emotions is still developing. No matter how your child engages during the session, trust that their body is receiving what it needs in a way that feels natural to them.
Trust in their inner wisdom and their inner physician as they too have their unique healing process.
💕
Your child’s Therapist will introduce them to simple breathing techniques to promote relaxation, along with skills to recognize and release tension in their muscles. They will also be encouraged to take an active role in their session by communicating where and how they would like to be massaged, putting them in charge of their own experience!

Parents are always welcome to ask the therapist for guidance on massage techniques to use at home.
Incorporating massage into your routine can strengthen your bond with your child while fostering feelings of security, comfort, and calm, especially for children who experience anxiety.
